Overview

This resort is two blocks from the main street in Banff, making it a great home base for summer or winter escapes. There is also easy access to the slopes and to the lively apres-ski scene. During the ski season, a ride to the slopes is included if you have lift passes which can be purchased at the hotel. Storage space for skis and snowboards available.

There are two on-site restaurants within Banff Park Lodge: La Terrazza, an Italian restaurant with panoramic views of the mountains, and Crave Mountain Grill, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Terrace Lounge serves snacks and light meals, as well as their own signature cocktails.

With an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and a fitness centre, soothing tired bodies after a day on the slopes is a no-brainer. Rooms are functional and clean, with private balconies and patios showcasing mountain views. Some rooms have large, two-person Jacuzzis, while suites have separate living areas. Expect to pay for Wi-Fi and parking -- the hotel also has electric-vehicle charging available.

Nice large room ,good bed and pillows. Nice furniture . place was clean . Pool facilities very clean and steam room was awesome. Only thing I thought odd was they have a nice bar area with nothing in it ,not even a few wine glasses.

Executive Suite washroom was small the jacuzzi tub is not a actual soaker tub it's in the shower. They charged for microwave They charged fir internet They charged for parking They charged $3 delivery for room service + 18% They called us last month to try to change the room type then called back and said it's ok. Asked for quiet location was put next to elevators No view as requested. For a executive suite there was nothing special even had to ask for the microwave but the washroom is so small made for little kids not executive couples. Stayed there 2 years ago in the jacuzzi suite and that was better than this room that needs renovations. Had to sleep with base board heaters on! What's executive about it? Sorry waste of money and very disappointed

Pool and location are stellar

Booked and room with a view and had to complain twice to actually get a room with a view. The cost of parking and WiFi being extra adds almost $40 per night. When parking is poor around location gives you no option but to pay

Bathroom could be cleaner. Dropped something on floor behind toilet and was surprisingly dirty

Very welcoming staff and foyer. Exceptionally clean rooms and friendly and happy staff throughout the building. They obviously take a pride in what they do and what they provide. The pool, hot tubs and steam room were appreciated and spotlessly clean. Good restaurants and longe bar, some shopping options within the complex. Close to many other eateries and to Downton shopping.

As usual our stay was great. Always enjoy staying at The Banff Park Lodge. The decor in the rooms is a little dated but very cozy, a little more attention could be given to the room details as some wear and tear was quite obvious and I wondered who is taking care of this. That aside, We will continue to stay here as the location could not be better for us to get around Banff. Love the pool and steam room as well.

On this particular stay we opted for room service for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was good but there was a miscommunication with our dinner order and ended up not getting exactly what we ordered. It was taken care of adequately when I reached out to the front desk and the restaurant.
