RIU Palace Tropical Bay All Inclusive
Why We Love This Hotel
- One of the best buffets in Jamaica, a wide array of top-shelf liquor, and a remarkably clean and quiet beach at this all-inclusive
- Lots of family-friendly entertainment, as well as a kids' pool and a playground
- Rooms are modern and clean with a marble bathroom, free Wi-Fi and a frequently restocked minibar
- The pool is a bit small for a resort of this size but the pretty beach makes up for it
Though in many ways the Riu Palace Tropical Bay All Inclusive is a typical mega resort, the quiet atmosphere, top-shelf liquor and out-of-this-world buffet set it above similar resorts in the area.
Rooms are modern with lovely terraces, and they're equipped with free Wi-Fi, as well as a frequently restocked minibar. Guests should be aware that king beds are actually two double beds pushed together.
Though there isn't a designated kids' club, there's a great kids' pool, plenty of family-friendly entertainment, and a playground. The beach is fairly quiet and very clean, and it's serviced by the bar and a jerk chicken shack. Guests seeking a typical all-inclusive vacation in Jamaica will be perfectly pleased with the grounds and amenities here, and pleasantly surprised by better-than-average service, food and spa treatments.
