Overview
Situated in the authentic Gràcia barrio, the Casa Gracia Hostel is within walking distance to many of Barcelona's top attractions. The area, "one of the most popular and vibrant districts in the city" (Time Out), has a variety of bars, restaurants and boutique shops.
Take a stroll through the barrio's narrow streets and "marvel at the portfolio of avant-garde architect Antoni Gaudí" (Harper’s Bazaar). Gaudí's Casa Milà is a 5-minute walk from the Casa Gracia, and La Sagrada Família, Gaudí's all-consuming obsession and the most visited monument in Spain, is 20 minutes' walk from the hostel. Gaudi's Park Güell, described as an "Art Nouveau extravaganza" by Fodor's, is three stops away on the Metro. The tree-lined La Rambla, a "window into Catalan culture" (Lonely Planet) is also three stops on the Metro.
Amenities at the Casa Gracia, with its "vaulted ceilings, Corinthian columns, picture windows and snowy white rooms" (The Guardian), include a daily cleaning service, a laundry service, an outdoor terrace, and a common area. Breakfast is available at the Casa Gracia's new restaurant, La Paisana, at an additional cost. The hostel also runs a walking tour of the city every morning at 11am.
The air-conditioned suites and apartments all have a twin room, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a TV and free WiFi. Some suites and apartments have views over Passeig de Gràcia, Barcelona's main shopping street.
