Light, airy and modern, and just across the road from a private Blue Flag beach -- the 5-star Princess Andriana Resort & Spa, on the southeastern coast of Rhodes, is an all-inclusive property that really does have it all.
Set on a secluded stretch of coast peppered with hotels and small fishing villages, the hotel is just 20 minutes’ drive from the picture-perfect town of Lindos, and just under an hour from the old town of Rhodes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Those who prefer to surf -- using wind, kites or just plain surfboards -- will want to head for Prasonisi, a sandy beach with two coves on the most southerly tip of the island. It’s just 40 minutes away by car.
Back at the hotel for dinner? Medallion Restaurant serves themed buffet food, from Italian to Greek, as part of the all-inclusive plan -- this is also where breakfast is served. There’s also an à la carte restaurant (reservations required), two snack bars and a pool bar. Facilities include outdoor pools, an indoor pool with a Jacuzzi and hammam, a spa and fitness centre, and a hair salon. Activities include watersports (extra charges apply), tennis, football and beach volleyball, as well as a kids’ club.
There’s a wide selection of accommodation, including adult-only Honeymoon Rooms with private pools, Family Rooms with sofa beds and partitioned areas, and larger open-plan Suites. All rooms have balconies or terraces, air conditioning, free WiFi and a complimentary mini bar.
