Arranged to upgrade but when they gave us the room it was tiny, bad odour and very stained carpet room 423, complained that I wasn't willing to pay an extra £20 for it so the girl on reception asked if we would keep the room foc I said no, that I wanted the classic room which was the offer without paying extra which she gave me but when we got it it was bigger than the supposed upgrade room so I think the guy that booked us in was at it as I asked at reception if it was the upgrade room and he said yes! Rooms need an upgrade as the furniture is very dated and tired it needs modernising, on the plus side we had a great sleep, location was good and shower was great, I would go back because for £65 it was worth it with the foc bottle of wine, it is just a hotel to rest your head, breakfast was good choice of food.

A little tired around the edges. One of the lifts not working for at least 3 days and no staircase evident as an alternative.
