The most economical option from both Chicago O'Hare and Midway airports is the El train. Travel time to the downtown area is 40-45 minutes from O'Hare and 25-30 minutes from Midway.

Rooms at this AAA 4-Diamond hotel are quite spacious by Chicago standards, especially the popular Riverview Double Queen rooms. Wi-Fi is complimentary, and guests can expect flat-panel TVs, Keurig coffee makers, rainfall showers and plush linens.

On-site restaurant Hoyt's serves up "punchy flavors" (Gayot) in its cuisine, and the outdoor patio is a great place for a drink in warmer months. The hotel's fitness center features lovely skyline views, and while there's no spa, guests can arrange in-room massage appointments. Batman fans take note: The hotel’s top-floor ballroom was the setting for Bruce Wayne’s penthouse apartment in the 2008 film "The Dark Knight."

No bun on my burger and told I lied about it. Breakfast was only 3 choices. The reservation said a voucher for the restaurant. We should have been able to choose from the menu with the voucher. Sales people in the hotel who would not leave me alone after I told them I was a Wyndham owner. They acted like I didn’t know what I was talking about when I told them I already have ownership.

rooms were not up to expectations - bed headboard was all scratched up (very tacky) and the bathroom door left us locked in a couple of times!

I like the Wyndham for the large rooms and the location. Staff is always polite and helpful. However such a hotel should have a much better restaurant. The staff of the restaurant has been unbelievably rude each time I’ve been there, whether for a meal or post- Opera drink. The food is not good quality, the drinks are watered down and the prices way too high. The restaurant is so poor it would affect my decision to return to the Wyndham in the future.
