The hotel, rooms and location are great. Shame about the poor quality of the dinner.

Stayed here before and food was very good. This time the evening meal was uninspiring and very ordinary. The wine was overpriced for pretty basic fare.

Terms of package were a bit confusing - we didn't realise till 3rd night that you could order from the regular menu as well (maybe hotel should have explained - it caused a lot of queries over the bills

The hotel is ideal for families but if you are in anyway ' allergic' to children then I would suggest you go elsewhere. It only takes a few over excited youngsters running around and shouting to spoil other people's pleasure and enjoyment and this was the case whilst we were there. Most of the staff were polite and helpful but as a couple in our 70's we did not appreciate being addressed as " Guys" and " My darlings " ( You might expect this in the local Weather spoons but not in a ' luxury' hotel. Breakfasts were very good, dinners not quite so good - too many little errors and omissions which became irritating . Lost count of the number of " Sorry's " from waiters after having to chase up missing wine, tea, cutlery etc. I think it is reasonable to be constructively critical of the service here because the Hotel's prices are high - wine prices are extortionate. Trying to be " all things to all men " does not work here. A pity but this is our conclusion; so would we go back ? No.

Excellent restaurant staff. Very clean in bedroom but the kids areas were messy. Excellent location for coastal walking

It could benefit from having a bar and I did feel the drinks were extremely expensive. Otherwise fantastic.

Good location.
Other Comments
Not good for couples wanting a peaceful break as very noisy in and out of the room with lots of kids running around without any regard for other people staying. Very expensive drinks with hidden charges.

The location is brilliant right on top of cliffs with path to beach and coastal path

Unfortunately the menu didn’t change on the two days we stayed and as I am intolerant of fish found limited choice of alternative food.
