A moated 16th-century property, Langshott Manor offers boutique 4-star accommodation in the Surrey countryside. Set in three acres of gardens, the hotel also has a fine-dining restaurant that holds three AA Rosettes.
This Elizabethan country house is just a few minutes' drive from Gatwick Airport, 90 minutes from London and 45 minutes from the picturesque Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The historic market towns of Horley and Horsham are both close by.
Condé Nast Johansens calls Langshott Manor a "slice of Elizabethan splendour" and a "vision of loveliness". You can sample fine dining from a range of tasting menus at the 3-AA-Rosette Mulberry Restaurant or enjoy an afternoon tea beside a log fire in one of the hotel's lounges. In warmer weather, guests can make use of the terrace, which overlooks the rose-filled gardens.
The hotel's 22 bedrooms mix modern furnishings with historic features and all come with Wi-Fi, bathrobes and slippers and lifestyle magazines. Luxury Rooms are more spacious and some feature private garden areas or Victorian bathtubs. Junior Suites all have a key feature such as a private garden, a balcony, a double walk-in shower or a freestanding bathtub.
