Marriott's Kauai Lagoons
Why We Love This Hotel
- Two and three bedroom villas are a great size for families, and come with full kitchens, separate dining and living room areas and washer/dryer machines
- Guests can utilize free Wi-Fi
- A rarity for the area, this property doesn't charge a resort fee
- Home to a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course
Past the sprawling and bustling beachfront resorts on Kalapaki Bay, the Marriott's Kauai Lagoons is hidden away on a 500-acre expanse of lush island greenery overlooking the Kauai Lagoons Golf Club and coastline.
The tranquil condo property is secluded, quieter and more upscale (but with fewer amenities) than the neighboring full-fledged resorts. Large two- and three-bedroom units have fully equipped kitchens perfect for home-cooked meals (there are no restaurants on-site) with top-notch details like granite counter tops and a Sub-Zero fridge. This is a great place for groups and families, as some units accommodate up to eight guests. Stock up at Costco or the local grocery store on your way in; both are a 10-minute drive away. Open up sliding French doors to a private patio, allowing for even more space to revel in the amazing views and island breezes.
The vibe at the pool is mellow and relaxed with plenty of space to kick back, and if you must put your toes in the sand there is a free shuttle to sandy Kalapaki Beach, 10 minutes away.
