The location is simply stunning, great to be away from the wider world and like how you have styled the building.

The only let-down was the staffing, excellent reception however past that the service around the restaurant and the bar were below standard, which was a shame. Perhaps some training on teamwork and providing an all-round experience would go a long way. Great pool and look forward to a return visit with our children, from the review it is maybe a rare occurrence where the team weren’t coming together.

The location and views from the hotel and surrounding area were beautiful. Lovely walks.

Small elements of the food at the evening main meal could have been tastier. Starters and deserts were very enjoyable especially the pavlova. We take numerous short breaks throughout the year and overall, value for money is better at other hotels especially Fowey Hall and Carbis Bay hotel where the food is also superior. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Didn’t like the small Devon lanes to travel down to get to the hotel.
