The Confidante Miami Beach
Why We Love This Hotel
- This trendy, beach-chic spot launched in April 2016
- Star chef Dale Talde serves up Asian-American fare at TALDE Miami Beach
- It’s close to South Beach, but just far enough from the crowds
- There are two heated outdoor pools and direct beach access
In the heart of Miami’s design mecca, The Confidante combines the charm of 1940s art deco with modern touches and bohemian flair. This midcentury modern hotel incorporates a mix of eclectic materials and furnishings, recalling Miami Beach’s Rat Pack days while weaving together different eras. With a vibrant color palette, floral chairs and vintage décor purchased from auctions and markets, globally revered interior designer Martin Brudnizki paints a picture of Miami’s colorful history.
The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the South Beach nightlife bustle, so guests won’t be kept up all night by club noise. Instead, this sophisticated spot is the perfect place to sip a drink in what feels like an exotic tropical paradise. Two palm tree-lined heated pools beckon with patterned cabanas, a lush garden and pastel sun chairs -- a picture straight out of a magazine. Open-air spa treatments and a full-service salon by New York's famed Warren Tricomi await guests on the rooftop.
Bird & Bone, the hotel’s countryside farmhouse option is run by local Chef Richard Hales and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner options. An outpost of "Top Chef" alum Dale Talde's Brooklyn-based restaurant and bar concept, TALDE serves up Asian-American fare within a Brooklyn-inspired design space. TALDE also features late-night hours and a DJ on the weekends.
