London’s financial district might not seem like the most exciting place to stay, but the Apex London Wall Hotel's location -- right in the heart of the city -- is its standout feature. It's close to some of the City of London's earliest history -- find out about Roman settlements at the Museum of London, visit the Bank of England, or explore iconic St Paul's Cathedral.
Not a history buff? The nearby Barbican Centre, 10 minutes' walk away, is a thriving centre for music, theatre and art. Cross London Bridge for lunch at bustling Borough Market, then walk along the river to find Shakespeare's Globe and the Tate Modern -- or backtrack to Tower Bridge for HMS Belfast. Take a River Bus to Westminster, or to Greenwich. And you're so close to the London Underground network (at Liverpool Street, Moorgate and Bank stations) that many other attractions are just a short hop away.
Back at the hotel, a contemporary restaurant, Off The Wall, serves bar food as well as an à la carte menu. There's also a 24-hour fitness studio.
City Rooms have a separate bath and shower, a Bose sound system and a 40-inch LED TV. All rooms include free Wi-Fi and mineral water, as well as bathrobes and slippers. Superior and Deluxe Rooms are more spacious, while Junior Suites have a separate living area and a second TV.
