Why We Love This Hotel

  • Apex Temple Court is located just off Fleet Street in Serjeant's Inn, a building that was once a barristers' chambers. The property was the first hotel to be built in one of London's historic Inns of Court. Found in the Inner Temple, it retains its grand façade.
  • Chambers Restaurant serves bar snacks, light lunches, and à la carte dishes. Lazy Ballerinas is a wine bar with charcuterie platters. Other facilities include a 24-hour gym and a lounge.
  • St Paul's Cathedral—with its instantly recognisable dome—is less than 10 minutes' walk away. The Golden Gallery at the top of the dome, 528 steps up from the nave floor, offers 360-degree views.
  • The Millennium Bridge, the Tate Modern, and Shakespeare's Globe are all less than 20 minutes' walk from the hotel.
  • There are multiple Tube and railway stations close to the hotel, so it’s a convenient base from which to explore further afield.

This used to be a lawyer’s office building in the past which I used to visit often (as a tradesman) so I wanted to visit to experience it in it’s new incarnation. I thoroughly enjoyed it, great location in Fleet St, friendly & helpful staff lovely rooms (we were given a suite on the top floor). Lot’s of history on your doorstep!

It is a good hotel, but some minor points need sorting in the room we had.

A lovely hotel. Room felt a little dark with the red and grey. Rooms very generous on size for central London. It felt special to have a cooked breakfast instead of usual buffet.

Bathroom was cold as we couldn’t get the heating on. Sink very small and not practical. Front of house polite and friendly at reception and restaurant.
