Overview
Step back in time to when cowboys and cattle ranchers roamed the range with a stay at an authentic Western-themed dude ranch. The Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo sits on 1,700 acres in River Ranch, Florida, and its accommodations are all in the Western style, creating a truly unique experience.
On site, guests will have access to various activities, such as horseback riding, airboat and swamp buggy rides, fishing and target practice. There’s also a tractor-pulled hayride through the KICCO Wildlife Management Area, which is comprised of over 7,000 acres along the Kissimmee River. On Saturday nights, there’s a rodeo complete with bull riding, barrel racing, trick riding and team roping. There’s also live music and line dancing on weekend nights.
The resort features an adventure park with attractions such as zip lining, a mechanical bull, bungee jumper, rock climbing and miniature golf. Guests can also rent pontoon boats or canoes and take part in guided fishing tours.
