Why We Love This Hotel
- According to Conde Nast Traveller, "Nottingham’s best-kept secret" is its mysterious system of caves. Hidden beneath the streets, this City of Caves is owned by the National Justice Museum. Tours are available and the entrance is 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel.
- The Nottingham Contemporary is also 10 minutes' walk away. The gallery hosts a busy programme of exhibitions, international artists, workshops, screenings, music and performance.
- Nottingham Castle is 20 minutes’ walk away. Keep an eye out for the Robin Hood statue en-route. Also, the Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem, one of the oldest inns in England. Time Out advises "snuggle into a cosy corner, this pub is well worth a visit."
- Sherwood Forest and its 1000-year-old Major Oak is an hours’ drive from the city. Another great green space to visit is Nottingham Arboretum, 10 minutes’ drive from the hotel. It’s the city’s oldest public park and believed to have inspired J.M Barrie’s Neverland.
