A Victorian family home turned country house-style hotel, Hempstead House in Kent is 30 minutes' drive from Canterbury and Whitstable. An overnight stay for two is £229 until October, including meals, prosecco, and more. Why We Love This Hotel
- The fine dining Lakes Restaurant has an AA Rosette and offers a modern British menu "packed with crowd-pleasers". The informal Brasserie restaurant has a relaxed dining atmosphere for lunch, snacks and freshly brewed coffee.
- Guestrooms are spread across the original house and the modern extension. They feature soft furnishings of brocade and silk, gilt mirrors, damask bedspreads, and tasselled cushions.
- Travelzoo members get complimentary access to facilities in AquaManda spa on the day of arrival and on the day of departure.
