Why We Love This Hotel

  • The colonial style Earl's Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, while the 24-hour Glamis Bar—with a cosy fireplace and original chandeliers—is a great spot for a cocktail, afternoon tea, or light bites.
  • One of the most visited neighbourhoods in London, South Kensington has a choice of free museums, including the Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Science Museum.
  • The area also has two of London's eight Royal Parks—Kensington Gardens where you can visit Kensington Palace, the Serpentine Galleries, and the Diana Memorial Gardens, and Hyde Park with the historic Speaker's Corner.
  • The high street is lined with cafés, restaurants, and shops, leading up to the iconic Harrods in Knightsbridge, 20 minutes' walk from the hotel.

The Racial Overtones, i not only got from a staff, member. Restaurant waitress ( Maria ) plus the behaviour, by at least, 4, Eastern European guest, that felt they had the right to question me. And try and tell me what to do!!! I noticed i was the only person of Colour staying there!!! The first room, I, was given, on my Birthday!!!! was, AWFUL!!!!! I, complained, to, the, Manager Chris Dii. He moved me to a better room. Else i was prepared to leave!!! Yours Truthfully Disgruntled. Mr P. McIntosh. Ps: i wouldn't go back to that particular hotel, just because, the Eastern Europeans made me feel, so Uncomfortable, in the heart ♥ of London!!!!

A very pleasant experience indeed. It was a short break to celebrate my wife's 67th birthday and the room had been decorated with balloons and a delicious chocolate cake was delivered soon after we had settled in. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and breakfast was superb. A lovely stay.

We were a group of 10 and needed somewhere close to the Albert Hall for a surprise birthday treat for 1 of our group. The location was absolutely perfect! We could walk easily to everywhere we wanted to go. Staff were lovely and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast also very good. Rooms a bit small and the whole hotel looked a little tired, but the price was good!
