Why We Love This Hotel

  • Facilities at the hotel include an 18-hole golf course, a gym, a beauty suite (supplements apply), and a bar and restaurant.

The double room was very basic and was two single beds just pushed together , room didn’t get cleaned only if you were stopping more than three nights which I think is disgusting, no fresh mugs for tea and coffee left in room , the pictures on the website were nothing like the actual hotel , it stated there was a woodland attached for walking the dog there was no wood

Breakfast very good, dinner very good. Our room was adequate but definitely in need of refurbishment and you could hear the people talking in the next room and soundproofing seemed very poor. Staff were very good and friendly and helpful.

The girls on reception were very friendly and welcoming. As it was my husband’s birthday on the second day of our stay they gave us an upgraded room which was lovely and much appreciated.. Food and drinks were served in the golf club restaurant and bar. Again, the staff there were all very friendly and obliging. My husband was very happy as they had Butty Bach beer on draft! He was over the moon as it is one of his favourite beers. He really enjoyed his birthday treat.

The nice bathrooms could do with bigger towel rails and some hooks to hang things on.
