The weather was very cold and even though the heating was on in the room, we were cold. They did bring us a heater which helped. Otherwise the hotel was lovely and the staff, especially the head barman/waiter was excellent (didn't catch his name)

Wonderful location, room was huge, food was great. Due to heavy snow we were about the only guest do it was very quite.
We did receive excellent service though.

5 minutes to Stratford, it would have been a great walk if not for the snow.

Lovely hotel, wonderful staff. My only complaint was the room we were in had very poor lighting, the room was painted dark blue (including ceiling!), and only three poor ceiling spot lights. Also there was no wall socket where the kettle was so we had to keep moving it to the bedside table, and no tray for the tea and coffee etc. so used spoons had to be left on the dressing table. Otherwise it was lovely and clean. Very quiet though but that was probably due to the time of year.

The staff were very good and the food was good. The bedroom was cold and decorated in dreary colours. The dining room was very cold and painted navy blue on walls and ceiling making it feel dark and depressing.

I can't fault the staff or the food, but I wouldn't go back.
