The Staff, what little staff there was, had a mammoth task of accommodating all the guests. I felt extremely sorry for the bar/dinner man who not only had to serve customers but also take orders for guests who wanted to room service and then also contact them when it arrived.
Other Comments
Not adequate directions for the hotel, signage is on one wall at the busy road side of the building. Also no access to park your car and offload luggage. Hotel is not clearly visible until you are actually outside your car and have to walk to the second archway and then the hotel is visible. Parking was not described as it actually is. Hotel information was that I needed to keep the coin and they would then pay for my car parking fee. This is not what happened. When I left after the second night I was still expected to pay. The fee was in actuall fact 30% of the overall cost adding an additional and unexpected £28 to my stay. Breakfast was a dried up version of an English Breakfast. Even the mushroom were dry as a bone. Very disappointing. We only had it on the first morning, it was that bad. Our original room 814 had not been cleaned properly as there was an odd sock on the floor under the chair that I sat in. We were transferred to 815 which had not been hoovered properly as there was still debris on the carpet at the entrance of the room. I asked for a glass of milk with the discount voucher we had been given, complimentary, but when he opened the fridge to pour it was congealed and should have been thrown away instead it had been left in the fridge for an indeterminate time.

Fantastic one night stay. We were amazed at what was included for the price we paid through Travel Zoo. The hotel was spotless. Room, bed and pillows were of very high quality and beautifully comfortable. An enormous shower with lovely shower gel/lotion. Every staff member that we came into contact with were courteous and showed interest in our reason for being in Bristol. The Bar Man on the evening of Tuesday 26th July (sorry we didn't get his name) was outstanding. We would have no hesitation staying here again. Phenomenal value for money. Big thank you to all the staff.

The hotel is new and well located. I liked the decor and how quiet it was the staff were very friendly but some lacked training, which is probably because they haven't been open very long. Overall good experience and I would recommend the hotel for a short stay.

It was a lovely hotel. Parking was a 5 minute walk and the discount was a bonus. A lot of little extra in the room, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was nice .
