- The Newlands Corner Restaurant serves a seasonal menu that features locally sourced ingredients (where possible, within a few miles of the hotel), such as Norbury blue cheese, watercress from Kingfisher Farm, Gravalax cured with Silent Pool gin, and Surrey steak
- Newlands Corner is a 10-minute stroll from the hotel and commands some of the best views of the Surrey Hills. Famously, it was the spot from which crime novelist Agatha Christie staged her disappearance in 1926, and there are several walks that explore the surrounding woodlands.
- The spring-fed Silent Pool is a 30-minute walk (or 5-minute drive) from the hotel. Next to this is the Silent Pool Distillery, which specialises in hand-crafted gin, and Albury Organic Vineyard, which produces high-quality English wines. Tastings and tours are available.
- The town of Guildford is home to a Medieval castle, a cobbled high street lined with boutiques, cafés, and restaurants, and a local museum, and is less than 20 minutes' drive from the hotel.
*Spa access is from the time of check-in (3pm) and until checkout (11am). Robe hire costs £7 and require a £18 deposit, returnable upon checkout. For environmental reasons, the hotel does not provide spa slippers, but guests may bring their own. The Spa offers a range of massage and Elemis beauty treatments, which can be arranged in a couples treatment room. These must be booked in advance - call 01483 222 624.
The hotel does not have a lift but will do its best to accommodate individual requirements and offers ground floor rooms (subject to availability). Enquire directly.

We have wanted to travel here for some time but were a bit disappointed by the size of the room considering it was a superior room - hate to think what standard would be. The breakfast was a bit disappointing and nothing was said about being able to have other egg options rather than fried and nothing was said about veggie options. The meal in the evening (i appreciate it was busy) was ok but nothing special and the temperature was not hot enough for my liking and the yorkshire pudding was dried out and chewy.
