Some air-conditioning or better fans are really needed in the bedrooms. We enjoyed our dinner but it was a bit chaotic!

The room was very warm so we had the fan on all night and the window open but was end of June . Everything very clean in room . Nice courtyard . Didn't have time to look around the area but very convenient for Greenwich and may use again as location excellent .

The reception staff were all incredibly polite and overall the venue is clean, functional and the details in the room and bathroom are appreciated.

Arriving at the hotel was lovely and the reception staff helpful, but both meals at Devonport House felt chaotic and unplanned. Considering they predominantly work from the set menu, it was odd that at 8.30 they had not only run out of one of the main courses, but needed to substitute two of the ingredients (and seemingly the cut of meat) in the other. The meal also ended on a sour note as both desserts saw sorbet used as a substitute for creme fraiche, ruining their flavours. Whilst I appreciate the convenience and value of deals such as this one, this element of the stay felt so low budget I can't foresee myself returning to a De Vere establishment anytime soon.

We asked for a garden view and they kindly obliged. The location is fantastic. Staff were polite and very smart. The breakfast was good.

We had stayed their courtesy of Travelzoo in the Spring and it was fantastic! Always a mistake to return. The menu for dinner had a poor choice, not a patch on the first time. The starter we chose was 'not available' and we waited an hour for our main course. However, we did enjoy the stay cos we make the most of everything!

Porridge was burnt at breakfast. A noisy crowd ruined evening meal.. Lovely, quirky, cheerful man with amazing hair served us at breakfast, he was great ! An assert to the hotel.
