Hotel details
Mykonos Essence Hotel is an adults-only property, a 5-minute walk from Ornos beach and just over 10 minutes by bus from Mykonos Town. The hotel is designed for adults seeking a quiet yet central location, close to beach bars and shops. Facilities include a swimming pool, a Greek restaurant, and a buffet restaurant with local and international options.
May to early June, late September, and October is a great time to visit. You get beaches minus the crowds. Ornos beach stretches along a crescent-shaped coastline and is surrounded by hills with typical white Cycladic houses. The bay is ideal for swimming and bathing as it is sheltered from strong winds and waves. The beach also bustles with dozens of seafront restaurants.
Get the bus to Mykonos Town where you can explore stone-paved alleys, whitewashed houses, country chapels, and windmills. Visit Little Venice, known for its colourful houses, lively nightlife, and beautiful sunsets. Or, visit the sacred island of Delos. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the mythical birthplace of Apollo and Aphrodite. Daily boat trips depart from the pier in Mykonos Hora.
