Hotel details
The 5-star Kassandra Palace Hotel is on the westernmost finger of the Halkidiki peninsula. The resort is surrounded by gardens and has a private stretch of sand-and-pebble beach.
The hotel has an outdoor pool in the landscaped garden. There's a fitness centre and a tennis court, and yoga and Pilates classes are available. You can book treatments in the spa for an additional fee.
The hotel's main restaurant offers Greek specialities and international cuisine. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available upon request. Breakfast and dinner is served at The Grove, the main buffet restaurant. Members will also receive 30% off their final bill on à la carte meals. The discount is available at the Fiki Fiki Asian Peruvian Restaurant or the Magnolia Mediterranean Restaurant. Order drinks at the pool bar, the beach bar, or in the lobby bar.
Deluxe Garden View Rooms are in the main building and have a furnished private balcony. The rooms have tea- and coffee-making facilities. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.
The traditional village of Kriopigi is around five minutes' drive from the hotel. You'll find tavernas and live music bars here. The traditional stone-built town of Afytos is about a 20-minute drive away. Built on a hilltop, it has pretty views of the Toroneos Gulf. Wander along cobbled streets and explore the folklore museum. The ruins of the Temple of Ammon Zeus are around 20 minutes' drive away.
