The GF Gran Costa Adeje is on Tenerife's southwest coast in the resort town of Playa de Fanabe. It’s 15 minutes' walk from two sandy beaches, and there are shops and restaurants within two minutes' walk. The island’s largest resort, Playa de las Americas, is less than 10 minutes' drive away, and has glitzy shopping malls, pubs and restaurants, and a lively strip of nightclubs and bars.
The hotel has three pools -- one has a glass bottom which can be viewed from the lobby, and one is on an adults-only rooftop terrace with sea views. Two of the pools are heated in winter. There is also a gym and a kids’ club. Wi-Fi is free.
Meals are served in the buffet restaurant, and options include churros with hot chocolate at breakfast, and meat, salads, vegetarian dishes and pastas at lunch and dinner.
