Hotel details
The 5-star Sun Siyam Iru Fushi resort is on a private island in the Noonu Atoll, a group of breathtaking unspoilt islands, where the staff are "unflappable" and "everything feels effortless” (The Daily Telegraph).

Since 2016, the resort has been nominated in the categories of World's Leading Family Resort and World's Leading Water Villa Resort at the World Travel Awards.

There are 14 bars and restaurants in the hotel. Breakfast is served at the Iru Restaurant, while lunch and dinner options include fine dining on the beachfront, and Italian, Indian, and Asian cuisine (supplements apply). You'll also find an ice cream bar (additional fees apply), as well as the more casual poolside bars that deliver blissful laidback vibes.

You can rent a tennis court, kayak, stand-up paddle board, snorkel in Nemo Garden where tropical clownfish live, or enjoy "outstanding" massages (The Daily Telegraph) and facials at the multi-award-winning spa (supplements apply). There are also three swimming pools, one of which is an impressive adults-only infinity pool that overlooks the ocean.

The 125-square metre Deluxe Beach Villas feature lofty ceilings and spacious beachfront terraces surrounded by tropical vegetation and Maldivian-inspired furnishings. A Jacuzzi, a rain shower, and a comfy day bed are also provided in the heavenly outdoor bathroom. You'll also experience the natural alarm clock through the sounds of the Asian Koel, who lives within the lush greenery of this "mind-blowing natural environment", says Condé Nast Traveller.

For those looking to explore the private island's breathtaking scenery, a leisurely stroll around the whole island will take you around half an hour.
