Itinerary
Begin in Oslo, Norway's capital. This cosmopolitan city is set between the sea and mountains and is bursting with modern architectural jewels and legends. You'll have the first day to explore at leisure, before learning about its history and the country's Norse heritage with a guided tour.

On day three, drive through pretty valleys to Geilo, a popular mountain resort, and stop en route to see the 13th-century Reinli wooden church. Geilo is known for its adrenaline-fuelled activities and beautiful views.

Next, visit Bergen, Norway's second-largest city, which is surrounded by fjords and the sea. While in the region, you'll get to admire Sognefjord, and take a scenic train ride on the Flåm Railway, past rivers, flowing waterfalls, and snow-capped peaks. It's one of the steepest train rides in the world and passes through 20 tunnels. You'll also take a mini cruise through the UNESCO-listed Nӕrøyfjord and Aurlandsfjord. In Bergen, take a city tour which includes the Fish Market, which has been operating since the 1200s.

Travelling onwards, stop in Føyno on your way to Stavanger to see the Bømlafjord underwater tunnel, which connects the island of Føyno to the mainland. In Stavanger, you'll take a city tour to see the historic Gamle Stavanger district—the restored wooden old town—as well as its pretty harbour.

On day five you'll stay overnight in the picturesque ski resort of Åseral, known for its natural beauty, pristine lakes, and sprawling forests.

You'll then explore the Telemark Canal. This beautiful waterway set within a picturesque park is connected by 18 lock chambers. You'll see the Vrangfoss lock facility, which has five chambers covering a vertical distance of 23 metres. In the afternoon, see the impressive 13th-century wooden Heddal Church, with its three imposing towers.

Back then to Oslo for one final overnight stay, before your flight home the next day.
