Hotel details
The 5-star Villa Neri Resort & Spa is located in the Etna Regional Park. The hotel is an hour's drive from Mount Etna. You can also reach the coastal city of Taormina in 40 minutes by taxi. You can also discover incredible rock formations at the Alcantara Gorge, 30 minutes' drive away. 

The resort combines Sicilian charm with contemporary design. Formerly a spacious villa, it's been fully renovated with modern facilities. There are many green features, including solar panels that cover 95% of the resort's energy needs. Traditional materials have been used throughout, such as sandstone from Taormina and locally-sourced white marble. There are only 24 rooms at the hotel, each with a private balcony or terrace.

Facilities include an outdoor pool (open May-September) and a spa. You'll get two hours' access to the spa with this deal. Spa facilities include a sauna, a steam room, an emotional shower, and a relaxation area. Help yourself to tea and herbal infusions while you relax.

Breakfast is served in the La Dodici Fontane restaurant. Indulge in Sicilian cuisine, with tea, coffee, and fruit juices also available. Alcoholic drinks are available for a supplement. Wi-Fi is free throughout the resort. 

This package includes a guided walk through the hotel's vineyard and olive grove. An English-speaking guide will escort you through the first stage of wine production. Learn all about vine cultivation, then enjoy a wine tasting experience in the wine room. Afterwards, sit down to a light lunch prepared with local Sicilian products. 

You'll also have the chance to visit a local farm for a tasting experience. During the visit, explore the farm's beehives and learn about honey extraction. Next, sample honey by the spoon, and taste other hive products, derivates, and biscuits. There will then be a wine tasting with at least three wines. You'll taste five olive varieties, plus sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, and garlic. Finally, savour eight types of olive oil with wood-baked bread, alongside a selection of liqueurs. The farm is around 30 minutes' drive from the hotel. Transfers are not included. Taxis can be booked directly with the hotel for approximately £66, return.
