The Grand Hotel Park is to the northwest of Dubrovnik's city centre in Lapad, a couple of minutes' walk from a pretty seafront promenade with restaurants and bars. This area is better value than the Old Town for food and drink, and is popular with locals.
The hotel has a buffet-style restaurant, a bar and an open-air taverna with live music in the evenings. Other facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with a bar, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness room and a spa. The nearest beach is across the road from the property.
Dubrovnik's Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a 10-minute drive away. Here, you can walk around the city walls, which Lonely Planet call the "finest in the world".
