Upon arrival in Ljubljana, you'll transfer to your hotel and have some free time to explore the city before a group meeting in the evening. You'll also have the option of dining at Ljubljana's Michelin-starred restaurant in Ljubljana Castle (additional charge). The next morning, you'll travel into the foothills of the Slovenian mountains, where you'll learn all about the benefits of herbs, and learn how to make the perfect cup of tea. In the afternoon, you'll visit the Medieval town of Kamnik, the home of Slovenia's craft beer scene, where you'll visit a local brewery and taste their beers.

On day three, you'll get to visit the breathtaking Lake Bled, before heading onto the picturesque Triglav National Park. You can either walk the Tolmin Gorge circuit or opt to eat at Hisa Franko for lunch, the country's only two Michelin-star restaurant (additional charge). In the afternoon, you'll be taken to Vipava Valley to finish the day with some wine tasting at sunset.

The next day, you'll travel to the impressive UNESCO-listed Skocjan Caves, where you'll have a guided tour. Afterwards, you'll continue on to the beautiful coast, and taste olive oil and have a picnic at a local olive grove. After lunch, you'll travel on to Piran, for some free time to enjoy a coffee and wander through the picturesque town before you go on your truffle-hunting excursion. Once you've collected as many as you can, you'll enjoy a rustic, truffle-themed dinner at your host's home.

Your final full day will be back in Ljubljana, where you'll have some free time to explore. In the autumn, the streets are filled with the scent of roasted chestnuts. Go for a stroll along the leafy banks of the Ljubljanica River, visit the Cathedral of St Nicolas or the National Museum of Slovenia, then cosy up in a local bar with a hot cup of mulled wine.
