Hotel details
Eurostars Porto Douro is a 4-star property which sits along the Douro river. Take in pretty views over the water from the hotel's rooftop bar. You'll stay less than 20 minute's walk from both the city's vibrant downtown, and Vila Nova de Gaia. In the latter, you'll find the port cellars of various different makers of the drink.
Double and Twin Rooms offer air conditioning, a television, and a minibar. Wi-Fi is free.
Wine tour details
Discover the history of port wine with a tour of Fonseca's 200-year-old cellars. This prestigious port house has been producing the drink since 1815. You'll learn about the aging process and the different types of port as you explore the cellars. At the end of the tour, you'll be able to sample Fonseca's signature product.
