MH Florence Hotel & Spa is within 20 minutes' walk of a number of Florence's best-loved sights. Some of these include the "stupendous" (Rough Guides) Duomo -- be sure to climb to the top for 360-degree views of the city's skyline, and the Ponte Vecchio, the 14th-century bridge lined with jewellery shops and art dealers. You can also visit the Uffizi Gallery, the Galleria dell'Accademia (home of Michaelangelo's "David") and the Giardino di Boboli, "one of the earliest and finest Renaissance gardens" (Frommer's).

Transfers & baggage
Flights are to Florence or Pisa. Transfers are not included, but you can take a bus from Florence Airport to the hotel; tickets cost £2, each way, and the journey takes around 10 minutes. From Pisa, you can take the train to Pisa Centrale Station, five minutes from the airport, and then a train to Santa Maria Novella, Florence's main railway station, which is a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Tickets costs approximately £5, each way, and the journey takes around one hour. Checked luggage can be added from £40 per bag, return.
