Begin your holiday in Phuket at the 4-star Sunwing Bangtao Beach, which gets its namesake from and is located on one of the best beaches in Thailand. Bangtao Beach is known for its silky white sands and clear waters that are perfect for snorkelling. 

The resort has four swimming pools for adults, one of which has a swim-up bar. There's also an outdoor Jacuzzi. A breakfast buffet is served daily at Piak's Kitchen, where you can also make reservations for lunch and dinner. Alternatively, dine at the beachside Fino Restaurant (supplements apply). There's also a lounge bar. 

Next, transfer to Khao Lak for four nights at the 4-star X10 Khaolak Resort. It's on Nang Thong Beach, a golden stretch of sand lined with coconut palms. The resort is under five minutes' drive from the bustling Bang Niang Market, where you can shop for souvenirs and authentic Thai street food. 

Take a dip in one of the three swimming pools, including one that's adults-only. Breakfast is served in the Main Buffet restaurant, or you can order à la carte dishes from the Seaside Seafood Kitchen (supplements apply). Drinks and snacks are served at the three bars—there's a swim-up pool bar, plus beach and lobby bars (additional fees apply).
