Itinerary
After an overnight flight, you'll arrive in Beijing — a culinary capital full of imperial-era delights and enchanting hútòng (ancient alleyways). You'll visit top sights such as Tiananmen Square, the imposing Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace. During your stay, you'll also take a day-long excursion to the Great Wall — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New7Wonders of the World — visit a jade workshop, and see the Olympic Park. You'll then head back to the hotel for a traditional Beijing roast duck dinner.

Next, you'll hop on a high-speed train to Xi'an, where you'll take a tour of the Old City Wall's South Gate and the warren-like Muslim Quarter, and see the world-famous Terracotta Army. Once you're back at the hotel, you will feast on a dumpling banquet.

The next transfer is to Guilin in the south of China, famous for its limestone hills, sparkling rivers, and majestic rice terraces. You will visit a local pearl factory and explore Elephant Trunk Hill, a trunk-shaped rock that extends into the river. You'll then head to the Yangshuo region, cruise down the Li River, and visit the natural wonders of Moon Hill and the Big Banyan Tree, famous for its age and towering beauty.

The final stop is Shanghai, where you'll stay four nights. You will take a walking tour of Nanjing Road and The Bund neighbourhood, step back in time in a traditional Yu Garden, learn about the city's history at the Shanghai Museum, then stock up on supplies at an authentic silk factory.
