The Cocogiri Island Resort is on the secluded island of Vashugiri, in the Vaavu Atoll. The resort is ringed by white-sand beaches and consists of 40 villas. On Tripadvisor, 96% of reviewers rate the resort excellent or good. Our partner is the only operator in the UK to package this resort. 

Go snorkelling to discover the house reef, which is teeming with tropical marine life. Alternatively, book an excursion to Fotteyo Kandu, the largest unbroken barrier reef in the Maldives (supplements apply). Here, you can spot dolphins, turtles, rays, and whale sharks.

There's an outdoor swimming pool with ocean views, a fitness centre, and a spa. You will receive a 15% discount at the Ameera Spa. Pre-book a range of treatments, such as massages, facials, body wraps, and pedicures.

Water Villas have a private wooden deck with a net hammock and sun loungers. There are steps leading from the deck right into the lagoon. The bath is situated in each Water Villa to provide views across the ocean. There are also floor-to-ceiling windows in each Water Villa. 

Beach Villas have a private terrace with a swing seat. There are floor-to-ceiling French-style doors providing direct beach access. Walk straight onto the beach from your villa and wander down to the ocean. 

Each villa has a bathroom with a tub and separate indoor and outdoor showers, plus luxury amenities. There's also a mini bar (extra fees apply), tea- and coffee-making facilities, and free Wi-Fi. Water villas are larger than beach villas.
