Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi is a deluxe resort on a private island, a 30-minute speedboat ride from Malé. It's ringed by pristine white-sand beaches, which lead into clear Tiffany-blue waters teeming with marine life. Look out for hawksbill turtles, reef sharks, and manta rays as you snorkel the coral reef in the placid blue lagoon. The south end of the island is popular with surfers, and it's frequently cited as one of the best surf spots in the Maldives.  

The main buffet restaurant, Banyan, serves international dishes ranging from Sri Lankan curries to Italian pastas. Once during your stay, you'll get to dine at the fine-dining Sunset restaurant. Request a table on the outdoor terrace and watch as the reef sharks swim below (additional bookings can be made for an extra cost). There are four bars where you can enjoy drinks and snacks throughout the day.

As part of your experience, you'll enjoy a sunset cruise and a dolphin cruise. There is also a weekly beach party and cooking demonstration. Sports facilities include a football field, badminton, tennis, and volleyball courts. For additional relaxation, there's a spa and a Chinese reflexology centre.

Garden Villas have furnished patios that look out over the swaying palm trees, and most are just a few feet from the beach. Apart from the ocean, other swimming options include an outdoor pool with a swim-up bar, and a children's pool.
