Africa & the Middle East Holidays
Africa and the Middle East stun from sky to sea, providing unrivaled landscapes and many modern marvels.
Beyond Egypt’s Pyramids of Giza, Devil’s pools in Victoria Falls, and wildlife in Kenya, travelers will find both beaches and islands, world heritage sites, urban adventures plus bazaars in countries in this vast continent. Many travelers’ first visits to Africa are to places like the historic cities of Morocco, a stop in cosmopolitan Cape Town before a Kruger National Park safari, or for the most adventurous, a Mt. Kilimanjaro trek.
The Mediterranean, the Persian Gulf, and the Red, Black, and Arabian seas surround the countries comprising the Middle East, and for American visitors, some of the most popular destinations include Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Summers can be extremely hot, so most visitors prefer to visit in winter or fall when the temperatures are the most mild. Although we have not seen a marked decrease in interest in travel here, it is advised to check any travel warnings from the State Department before booking a trip.
