Itinerary
- Lima... you'll get a guided tour of the city, including the historic centre (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). When we visited the city, we loved eating at the cevicherias, where you'll find the freshest seafood cooked in zesty lime juice.
- Cusco... explore the Santo Domingo convent, and the Inca ruins of the Coricancha temple. You'll also visit the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, which has panoramic views of the city.
- Sacred Valley... visit the picturesque towns of Chinchero and Ollantaytambo, where you'll enjoy an Andean gastronomy experience. After a night in the Sacred Valley, you'll ascend to Machu Picchu by train to see this incredible wonder of the world.
- Buenos Aires... start the adventure with a tour of this exciting city. Visit the bohemian San Telmo neighbourhood, and the Tres de Febrero park. See La Boca, with its brightly-coloured houses and tango halls.
- Iguazu Falls... you'll visit both the Brazilian and Argentian sides on during on two guided tours. You'll also ride the train up to the Devil's Throat. It is a horseshoe-shaped, 80 metre-high waterfall.
- Rio de Janeiro... visit the famous Christ the Redeemer statue, and admire the incredible views over the city. The statue is within the tranquil Tijuca National Park. It is home to over 300 species of animals and over 1600 plant species.
- Buzios... finish the trip with a relaxing break by the beach. You'll go on a cruise along the beautiful coastline aboard a traditional schooner boat. There'll be plenty of swim stops to enjoy the clear waters.
