Start your trip with four nights in Dubai, where you'll get an adrenaline rush on a desert safari in a 4x4, take a dhow cruise on Dubai Creek with dinner and head to neighbouring emirate Abu Dhabi to see the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

You'll then fly to Delhi, where you'll discover both the old and new cities. You'll see Jama Masjid, one of Asia's largest mosques, the Red Fort and Humayun's Tomb. You'll also take a rickshaw ride around the colourful streets of Chandni Chowk.

From Delhi, you'll head to Agra to visit to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites -- the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. After two nights in Agra, you'll drive to Jaipur, stopping off at the "magnificent" (Lonely Planet) Fatehpur Sikri, an ancient sandstone city that was the capital of the Mughal Empire, before it was abandoned in the late 16th century.

Once in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan state, you'll visit the Amber Fort and the City Palace Museum, which is home to some impressive Rajasthani and Mughal art. You'll then take a flight to Kathmandu for your tour of Nepal.

You'll be greeted at the airport by a local guide and transported to your hotel in Kathmandu, where you'll have a free evening to get to know the city. The next day, you will explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu shrine at Pashupatinath and Boudhanath, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world.

On the 13th day of your holiday, you'll arrive in Pokhara and spend two days exploring the surrounding area, including Phewa Lake, Gupteswar Cave temple and Devi's Falls. From there, you'll also take an early-morning drive to Sarangkot to see the sun rise behind the Annapurna mountain range.

You'll then head to Chitwan National Park, which teems with wild rhinos, tigers, leopards and deer. Chitwan is "one of the best wildlife-viewing national parks in Asia", according to Lonely Planet, and you'll immerse yourself thoroughly on a guided nature walk with bird-watching, a jeep safari through its dense jungle and a peaceful ride along the Rapti River in a traditional tree canoe.

Next, you'll journey to the mountain village of Nagarkot, where you'll spend a night before heading back to Kathmadu via the UNESCO World Heritage Site Changu Narayan temple -- you can choose either a 3- to 4-hour hike through traditional villages, with the Himalayas as a backdrop, or take a car.

Finally, after one further night each in Kathmandu and Delhi, you'll head to the Maldives for a four nights by a white-sand beach lapped by the Indian Ocean.
