Tour highlights

  • Bangkok... see a variety of beautiful temples, as well as the single largest Buddha image. You'll also visit the Damnern Saduak Floating Market. Explore the Thailand-Burma Railway centre and the war cemetery, plus ride the Death Railway Train.
  • Siem Reap... watch the sun set over the Angkor Wat temple complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll also visit the atmospheric Ta Prohm, with its monkeys and snaking tree trunks.
  • Phnom Penh... learn about the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge at the Killing Fields. Meet the survivors and hear their stories, and see the mass burial areas. In the afternoon, you'll have some free time to relax. Explore the city's temples and museums, such as the Silver Pagoda and the National Museum. Or, shop for bargains at the city's Art Deco central market.
  • Ho Chi Minh City... journey down the Mekong Delta's winding canals to Unicorn Island. Stroll around an orchard, taste the seasonal fruits, and see farmers at work. This is followed by lunch at a local restaurant. You'll then have a free day to explore the city. Visit the Old Saigon Post Office, the War Remnant Museum, or the Reunification Palace. You could also go on an optional excursion to the Cu Chi tunnels (extra charge).
  • Hanoi... you'll have a bit of free time here before and after your Halong Bay cruise. We recommend the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, and Hoan Kiem Lake. Or, explore Hanoi's fascinating Old Quarter, where you can see a traditional water-puppet show.
  • Halong Bay... spend a day and a half exploring the breathtaking bay from a traditional Vietnamese boat. You'll get activities included, such as a cooking class and a morning tai chi lesson. Plus, you'll visit the hidden Thien Canh Son cave and the Vung Vieng Fishing Village.
