Itinerary
Start in Lima, where you'll get a guided tour of the city. Visit the UNESCO-listed historic centre, the 16th-century cathedral, and the Larco Museum. We also recommend the cevicherias, where you'll find the freshest seafood cooked in zesty lime juice.

On your second full day in Peru, you'll take a short flight to Arequipa. From here, you'll start your trip into Colca Valley—one of the world's deepest canyons. The area is scattered with volcanoes and thermal springs, and retains a traditional Peruvian culture.

After a night in the valley, you'll continue to Puno. This will be the base for your trip on Lake Titicaca. Right on the border of Peru and Bolivia, it's the largest lake in South America. You'll spend the night on Amantani Island, enjoying dinner and staying with a welcoming local family. You'll visit Taquile and Uros Islands, discovering traditional crafts, clothing, and breathtaking views throughout.

Next, you'll head to Cusco, which is an ideal base for the Sacred Valley. It's particularly atmospheric at night, when its historic plazas are lit up. On your final full day, you'll visit Machu Picchu. The Inca city and its ruins—set between two Andean peaks—are a must-see.
