Upon arrival, you'll be greeted at the airport and transported to your hotel in Kathmandu, where you'll have a free evening to get to know the city. The next day, you will explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu shrine at Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world. You'll also have the option of going on a flight over Mount Everest to take in the panoramas without any climbing (additional charge).

On the fourth day of your holiday, you'll head to Chitwan National Park, "one of the best wildlife-viewing national parks in Asia" (Lonely Planet), teeming with wild rhinos, tigers, leopards, and deer. On arrival, you'll have a bit of downtime to relax before visiting the Tharu village, home to the indigenous people of Terai, who have lived there for more than 500 years. In the evening, you'll get to see the traditional Tharu stick dance.

The next day, you'll immerse yourself thoroughly in the nature and wildlife of the area, with an expert naturalist to guide you throughout. Head off on a bird-watching nature walk, go on a jeep safari through its dense jungle, and canoe down the Rapti River in a traditional tree canoe.

On arrival in Pokhara, you'll have the option to add an early morning drive to Sarangkot to see the sun rise from behind the Annapurna mountain range (extra charge). You'll spend the next two days exploring the surrounding area, including Phewa Lake, Gupteswar Cave temple, the Gurkha Museum, the Old Bazaar, and Devi's Falls.

You'll then have two more days to relax and explore Pokhara at your own pace, before heading back to Kathmandu. You'll have two nights here before flying back to the UK.
