After landing in Windhoek, you'll drive through the Namib desert to Sossusvlei, which is often referred to as a photographer's paradise because of its awe-inspiring red sand dunes. You'll spend two nights there, and will visit the Sesriem Canyon, home to breathtaking rock formations.
The next stop on the tour is the coastal city of Swakopmund, which is known for its charming half-timbered buildings, built by German colonists in the 1890s. Upon arrival you'll have a free day to explore the city at your own pace.
You'll then head to Etosha National Park, stopping at the town of Omaruru, known for its good food and local wine, en route. When you arrive in Etosha, you'll have a chance to spot the Big Five: lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, elephants, and Cape buffaloes, on the drive to the lodge.
The next day, you'll have another chance to look out for wildlife during a full-day game drive. You'll set off in a 4x4 safari vehicle in search of the 114 species of mammals and 340 species of birds in the park.
After spending two nights in Etosha National Park, you'll transfer back to Windhoek for your final night before flying home.
