Fly from Birmingham from £1305 per person, from Manchester from £1309 per person, from Glasgow from £1385 per person, or from Newcastle from £1395 per person.
The holiday begins in Cape Town, the "world's best city", according to The Daily Telegraph, where you'll pick up your car and drive to your city-centre hotel. The bustling V&A waterfront, with bars and restaurants with panoramic sea views, is 30 minutes' walk away, and the white-sand beach of Camps Bay is a 10-minute drive away.
While in Cape Town, take a cable car up to the top of Table Mountain, and a ferry across to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years.
You'll then fly to Mpumalanga for a 2-night stay at the Nut Grove Manor, which borders the Kruger National Park. During the game drive in a 4x4 vehicle, you might spot the Big Five: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos.
The next stop is Mount Sheba. On your drive there, we recommend taking a detour to Blyde River Canyon, the third-largest canyon in the world.
The final stop is Johannesburg. Wander around one of the food or craft markets, spend the evening in a jazz café or visit Constitution Hill for an insight into life during the apartheid regime.
A discount of 25% applies for children aged 2-11
