Itinerary
The tour begins in Delhi, where you'll discover both the old and new cities. You'll see Jama Masjid, one of Asia's largest mosques, the Red Fort and Humayun's Tomb. You'll also take a rickshaw ride around the colourful streets of Chandni Chowk.

The next stop will be Mandawa, where you'll stay overnight. Go on a walking tour through the buzzing city streets, where you'll see numerous havelis—historic mansions with ornate and colourful frescoes. You'll then journey on to Bikaner in the Thar Desert, and learn of its history with a guided tour. In the afternoon, you'll see the spectacular Junagarh Fort, with its impressively decorated interiors, before ending the day with a tuk-tuk ride through the ancient city bazaar.

After an overnight stay in Bikaner, you'll head to the Golden City of Jaisalmer and its magnificent Golden Fort, which are both named after the honey-hued local sandstone they are built from. You'll visit famous palatial houses such as Nathmal and Patwon, and take a sunset excursion to see the Sam Sand Dunes.

Next is the Blue City of Jodhpur, whose narrow Medieval streets, full of colour and perfumes, overload the senses. You'll take a guided visit to Mehrangarh Fort, which offers a bird's-eye view of the city, and see Jaswant Thada, an impressive marble cenotaph.

You'll then swap the Blue City for the Pink City of Jaipur, where you'll see the magnificent Amber Fort—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—and stop briefly for a photo at the iconic Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds.

On the way to Agrayou'll stop off at the "magnificent" (Lonely Planet) Fatehpur Sikri, an ancient sandstone city that was the capital of the Mughal Empire, before it was abandoned in the late 16th century. Once in Agra, you'll take a tour of the unforgettable Taj Mahal, the perfect way to finish off your adventure. You'll then head back to Delhi for one last night before your flight home.
