About the event
The opening day of the Grand National is one of the most popular racing days for steeplechase fans. There will be seven races including four Grade 1 races, from steeplechases and hurdles to flat races. As well as enjoying the races, you could socialise in the Red Rum Garden which features live entertainment throughout the day, visit the betting facilities to take a punt on your favourite horses, or spot stars like Michael Owen, Kenny Dalglish, and Olympic gold medallist Sam Quek.
