About the show
This new cirque staging of "The Wicked Wizard of Oz" features a cast of 40. They perform airbound turns and somersaults against the backdrop of the glistening Emerald City. Jon Conway of "Elf the Musical" takes to the stage as the brainless scarecrow, and Kelly Banlaki appears as Kansas farm girl Dorothy Gale. Follow the well-known characters on their journey over the rainbow. In the tale, a 10-foot-tall tin-man transformer and a cowardly lion who's afraid to walk the high wire search for the wicked wizard. The wizard is played by comedy pianist Kevork Kapikyan, who runs the Emerald Circus. They must be guided through the enchanted forest by the wizard. Watch as they fight to defeat the broomstick-flying, green-faced witch and her flying monkeys.
