About The Charlatans & Johnny Marr
Formed in the late 1980s, The Charlatans emerged from the Madchester scene and became an influential British rock band. Known for their unique blend of psychedelic, indie, and dance influences, the band is fronted by Tim Burgess. Their debut album "Some Friendly", released in 1990, brought the band a huge level of success, featuring hits like "The Only One I Know" and "The Answer".

Manchester-born Johnny Marr gained prominence as the founding member, lead guitarist, and co-songwriter of the legendary indie rock band The Smiths in the 1980s. Marr's guitar sound was the backbone of The Smiths' iconic tracks like "This Charming Man" and "How Soon is Now". After departing from the band, Marr carved out a successful career, contributing to bands such as The The, Modest Mouse, and Electronic. In 2023, he released "Spirit Power: The Best of Johnny Marr", a collection of songs spanning the last decade of his solo career.
