About the show
For decades, people have flocked to see Victor Hugo's classic story come to life on stage. "Les Misérables" opened at the Barbican Theatre in London on 8 October, 1985. Delighting audiences since then, it holds the crown as the West End's longest-running musical. Set in early 19th-century France, it tells the story of the life of Jean Valjean. Condemned for stealing bread, he turns his life around after a bishop shows him kindness. Despite changing his ways, Valjean is hunted by Javert for breaking his parole. His life on the run leads him into the perils of the June 1832 Rebellion. He finds himself in Paris, where a group of students prepare for revolution.
About the restaurant
Gaucho Piccadilly takes traditional Argentine flavours and introduces contemporary twists in its dishes. You can choose two courses from the set menu. We like the sound of the beef empanada followed by the pan-fried sea bream. Or if you have a sweet tooth and prefer dessert, try the chocolate brownie.
