Itinerary*
On day one, you'll make your way to Oxford for a walking tour and free time. Stroll through the charming cobbled streets and discover iconic landmarks, including the University. Then, head to Blenheim Palace, renowned as the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Get a glimpse into the lifestyle of British aristocracy as you wander through lavishly decorated rooms. Afterwards, you'll spend the night at a 4-star hotel in Cheltenham, ready for a second day of exploring.
Day two starts with a visit to the idyllic Cotswolds. You'll drive through picturesque countryside on the way to your first stop: Bourton-on-the-Water. This quintessential English village features quaint cottages, peaceful riverside views, and charming stone bridges. Next is Lacock, which served as a filming location for several scenes in the "Harry Potter" series. You'll finish the day in Bath, where you can visit the Gothic Bath Abbey and the centuries-old Roman Baths. Discover the city's pretty honey-coloured architecture and top it off with a 4-star hotel stay.
Your last day features a trip to the awe-inspiring Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Afterwards, you'll head to the historic town of Windsor, steeped in centuries of royal heritage. Wander its streets as your expert guide brings the history of the town to life. Your visit here includes entry to Windsor Castle, the World's oldest and largest occupied castle.
The 4-day tour also includes visits to Salisbury and Winchester. You'll get to explore the 13th-century Salisbury Cathedral and the medieval city that surrounds it. Plus, learn the history of Winchester as the former seat of King Alfred the Great.
